Open the Microsoft Store and search for Amazon Alexa.
Click Get to download and install the application.
Sign in with your Amazon account credentials.

Tap your Echo, then "Change Wi-Fi Network".
Select your home Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz recommended).
Type your password and tap Connect.

Running into an issue? Here are the most common Echo Dot problems and quick fixes.
Retrain the voice profile: Alexa App → Settings → Alexa Account → Recognised Voices. Reduce background noise for best results.

An orange ring means no Wi-Fi. Restart your Echo, modem, and router. Use a 2.4 GHz band and move Echo closer to the router.
